The Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) has included Donna's reduction woodcut “Water Under the Bridge” in the Hawai‘i State Art Museum’s newest exhibition, “Altered States,” which opened August 6, 2021.
The exhibition included painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, fiber and sculpture selected from the SFCA’s Art in Public Places Collection. Themes reflected upon in the show incude death, spirituality, global warming, politics and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donna's "Water Under the Bridge" has been in the Hawai'i Art in Public Places Collection since 2018 when it won a juror's award as part of the Pacific States Biennial and a special recognition award granted by a committee of local artists.
